I started photographing Boudoir because as a plus size woman I know how difficult it can be to feel confident in your own skin, so I’m on a mission to change how women see themselves. Empowering women to realize their unique beauty is my passion. I think we can make ourselves feel powerful and whole by seeing ourselves the way others see us. And by tearing down the idea that we’re in any way less than the women we see in magazines. You are complete. You are worthy. So let’s make some art, damn it.

I spent 10 years as a teacher before finally betting on myself and going full-time with photography. Best. Decision. Ever. Watching women see themselves in a new light—confident, sexy, unstoppable—fuels me like nothing else.

I used to be the rule-follower, the people-pleaser, the “yes” girl. But at 42? I’ve shed that version of me. Now, I do what makes me feel alive—whether it's capturing women’s power, hitting the beach with a little Mary Jane, hiking with good company, or planning fun new dates with my husband of 22 years. We also love kicking back at the movies with our son—who’s somehow already about to start high school (how did that happen so fast?!). Oh, and I dyed my hair pink because, well… why fakn not?
