"What should I wear?" I've got your back! Check out this blog post where I spill the tea on 9 outfit tips for your boudoir sesh. Get your pen and paper ready 'cause you'll wanna jot these down!
SIZE MATTERS
When it comes to nailing your boudoir look, getting the right fit is key—especially for your bras and panties.
For undies, aim for about one size up from your usual. Trust me, many of us (myself included!) tend to cling to sizes from our high school or college days. But going too small can make the lace look stretched or create unwanted bulges. Nobody wants their Calvin Klein undies to lose their letters because they're too tight!
When it comes to bras, it's all about that flattering fit. While bralettes are super cute, they might not suit all body types, especially if they don't offer ample support. Your bra should keep the girls in place even when you're lying down. Padded bras are usually great, but some poses might call for non-padded ones, like lacey ones, so make sure to pack a variety. You want options, babe!

ROBES
Silk or lace robe? These babies are game-changers during your session. You can style them in countless ways: wear it elegantly, drape it off your shoulders, give that sultry glance over your shoulder (I'll totally help you nail that!), or use it strategically to cover up wherever you feel like. Robes are seriously versatile and pack a punch when it comes to adding that extra oomph to your boudoir shoot.

BODYSUITS
When it comes to rocking bodysuits for your boudoir session, here's a pro tip: aim for high-waisted ones. They work wonders in creating the illusion of longer legs, especially those with a thong cut. And hey, if you find a bodysuit that flaunts some side boob, that's an added win!
My go-to spots for these fabulous bodysuits are Bra's N Things and Honey Birdette. Trust me, they've got the goods that check all the boxes for the perfect boudoir outfit.

HIGH HEELS
Let's chat about heels—I totally get it if walking in them isn't your jam, no pressure at all! But hey, we'll definitely strike some killer poses in them.
For boudoir shoots, aim for heels around 4-5 inches tall. Pumps work wonders because they give your legs that extra length when you stretch out and point those toes—plus, they make you feel absolutely stunning!

CROP TOPS
OMG, can we just take a moment to appreciate how epic crop tops are right now? They're an absolute blast to photograph, especially in boudoir sessions—so much potential!
Now, let's be real—not every gal might vibe with this, but for some, rocking that subtle under boob with a crop top? It's like a secret weapon of sexiness that guys totally dig.
What's fab about crop tops? They're effortlessly chic and still offer that sexy skin exposure. I'm usually all about the looser fits, but girl, variety is key!

SWEATERS
When clients ask about boudoir outfits, I always rave about sweaters! Off-the-shoulder sweaters and tees are my absolute favorites—they bring serious fashion vibes to your images.
Now, here's the key points to keep in mind. Avoid oversized or bulky sweaters. Trust me, feeling or looking bulky? Total mood killer. Opt for lighter sweaters, tees, or henleys; they're the real winners for that boudoir flair 'cause they let you move freely and feel amazing!
And you know what's a game-changer? Pairing those sweaters with thigh-high knit socks. That cozy-chic combo? It's the ultimate feel-good style for your boudoir session!

NUDE
You know, this outfit choice might seem intimidating for many women. But hey, I'm right there with you—I'm a woman too! When we're in the studio, it's just the two of us, and I've got you covered where needed!
Implied nudes have this incredible power to highlight your femininity, curves, and above all, that confidence radiating from within—which, by the way, is the sexiest trait ever! Trust me, these images might just become some of your absolute favorites!

When it comes to outfits, the possibilities are endless! The more options you bring to the session, the merrier. I'm here to assist in mixing and matching during the shoot!
